A new vision of Australiana — the Quandong and Davidson’s Plum Iced Vovo is a play on one of modern Australia’s most iconic snacks with a native twist.

This recipe is by Adnyamathanha and Dieri man Damien Coulthard and Rebecca Sullivan, depicted by artist and Gumbaynggirr woman Aretha Brown in her striking style — bold shapes, deep colours and strong line work.

Through food, Damien and Rebecca seek to create cultural restoration by bringing native ingredients to the forefront of household cooking and sharing knowledge of some of the world’s oldest foods in existence.

Together, in collaboration with Aretha, this poster represents a commitment to creating an Australia that is firmly embedded in its indigenous roots through culinary connections to Country.

At Food For Everyone, we bring together chefs and artists to turn recipes into artworks. It’s a little niche, we know — but we think you’ll like it here.

What began as a fundraising project at a kitchen table in 2020 has grown into a creative studio that collaborates with some of the world’s most exciting voices in art and food to create collectible, joy-filled posters. Along the way we’ve also started working with brands, chefs and cultural organisations on creative collaborations that explore food culture through art, storytelling and shared experiences.

Our mission is to make affordable art that means more: pieces that remind you of meals shared and memories made around the table. Each work is an act of connection between the person who cooks, the person who paints and the person who hangs it on their wall.

We support independent artists by commissioning one-off collaborations made exclusively for Food For Everyone. You won’t find them anywhere else. No mass production, no stock images, no drop-shipping. Just real people, doing what they love.

Each poster is printed locally in Melbourne using premium, sustainable materials. Every order is hand-packed with care and sent from our studio. For every poster purchased, we donate the equivalent of 4 meals to food charities across Australia, so you can shop knowing your artwork does more than look beautiful on your wall.
