Helio Press is the risograph print project of illustrator and zine lifer Ashley Ronning. Specialising in illustrative risograph printing and DIY publishing, Helio is dedicated to the art of imbuing paper with the stories and experiences of authors and illustrators. Capturing the fluid and abstract in the act of committing ink to the page. Located in Melbourne’s inner north – three planets from the sun – it’s the home of free range, physical art; hand-stapled by the owner of an expansive collection of inky denim. In 2026 Helio Press will celebrate its 10th anniversary – 10 trips around the sun. 

We are a small team of three – one human (Ashley), Myrtle the RP 3700 and Meryl the MZ 770.
