These notebooks are made up of risograph test prints from the studio, blank plain recycled paper, and plain coloured paper. Stapled with archival copper staples.
Notebooks in your order may not be those pictured – every notebook is totally different. It’ll be a surprise!
Please keep in mind these notebooks are made from gently used paper and put together by one person, so they won’t be perfect and polished.

Helio Press is the risograph print project of illustrator and zine lifer Ashley Ronning. Specialising in illustrative risograph printing and DIY publishing, Helio is dedicated to the art of imbuing paper with the stories and experiences of authors and illustrators. Capturing the fluid and abstract in the act of committing ink to the page. Located in Melbourne’s inner north – three planets from the sun – it’s the home of free range, physical art; hand-stapled by the owner of an expansive collection of inky denim. In 2026 Helio Press will celebrate its 10th anniversary – 10 trips around the sun.
