Pinky's is on the hunt for our a super star Casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our cute and colourful Preston store. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic salesperson with an interest in our shop and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Pinky’s was founded by us – stylist Beckie Littler and designer Emily Green – in 2018. We first met at playgroup when our daughters were a year old and, not long after, decided to take a leap into the unknown and start our dream shop together. We only sell what we really believe in: quality, ethically produced pieces we are proud to represent. Over the past eight years our Pinky’s family has grown to a team of 14! Will you be 15??!
Who you are -
We want a confident, positive and motivated individual to join our Pinky’s team. Someone who loves to help our lovely customers whilst also getting on with the many other tasks that need to be achieved throughout the day.
Time flies at Pinky's so if you're expecting it'll be another boring retail role, think again. We would love you to have experience in Vend and Shopify but we will be able to teach you everything you'll need to know in order to receive stock, process online orders and general retail admin. A strong work ethic is a must. We would also love it if you have an interest in art and design and know about the makers we stock.
At least 2 years relevant retail experience is ESSENTIAL! Please don't apply if you have none. This is a weekend position but there will be the occasional week day shift in the lead up to Christmas.
A few things to know
This is a physically active role. It involves regular manual lifting, moving boxes, unpacking deliveries and spending most of the day on your feet, so you'll need to be comfortable with physical work.
November, December and January are by far our busiest months so applicants must be available to work throughout our Christmas trading season apart from public holidays.

- Receive in deliveries
- Process and pack online orders
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant retail sales experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
