Stockroom Pick & Pack Assistant (Full Time - Sunday - Thursday)
Pinky's is on the hunt for a superstar Stockroom Pick & Pack Assistant to join our team in Preston.
While this role isn't customer-facing, it's one of the most important jobs in our business. Every online order that leaves our stockroom, every delivery that arrives safely, and every shelf that's fully stocked starts with you.

We're a happy little gift shop in Preston with a love of colour, creativity and community. We spend our days sourcing beautiful products from Australian and international designers and filling our shelves with things that make people smile.
Pinky's was founded by stylist Beckie Littler and designer Emily Green in 2018 after we met at playgroup and decided to take a leap into the unknown together. What started as our dream shop has grown into a busy retail store, thriving online shop and wholesale business, with an amazing team of 13 people behind it all.

You're someone who genuinely enjoys getting stuck into a day's work.
You notice when something's out of place, you're naturally organised, and you love the satisfaction of getting through a busy to-do list. You're happy working independently but also enjoy being part of a close-knit team where everyone pitches in.
Accuracy is just as important as speed, and you'll take pride in making sure every parcel leaves looking like something you'd be excited to receive yourself.
The role
This is a full-time position working Sunday - Thursday
You'll be responsible for:
- Picking and packing online orders.
- Receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries.
- Organising and replenishing stockroom stock.
- Preparing stock for the retail floor.
- Assisting with inventory and stock counts.
- Keeping the stockroom clean, organised and running smoothly.
- Working closely with our retail team to keep everything flowing behind the scenes.
A few things to know
This is a physically active role. It involves regular manual lifting, moving boxes, unpacking deliveries and spending most of the day on your feet, so you'll need to be comfortable with physical work.
November, December and January are by far our busiest months. Because of this, we will not approve annual leave during this period, so applicants must be available to work throughout our Christmas trading season apart from public holidays.
This position is paid in accordance with the General Retail Industry Award, including all applicable penalty rates and entitlements.
