About Jean Riley:
Since 2018, we have been passionately redefining the very essence of fashion through our commitment to sustainable manufacturing and thoughtful design. Our journey was inspired by the effervescent spirit of our muse, the extraordinary Ms. Gloria Jean Riley (1943 - 2020), whose boundless optimism never wavered. A remarkable mother and an even more cherished grandmother, her unwavering zest for life remained undiminished, even when she faced the challenges of dementia in 2015.
The memory of her infectious joy continues to inspire us, and we are determined to honour her legacy by infusing every creation with the same magic that she brought into our lives. With each exquisite piece you collect from us, know that a significant portion of our profits will be dedicated to advancing the study of this relentless disease. Together, we can spread not just the beauty of our artisanal jewellery but also the hope of finding a cure for dementia, allowing Ms. Gloria Jean Riley's spirit to live on in the joy and happiness she brings to people through our brand.
In our cherished Australian studio, every piece comes to life through a treasured tradition passed down from generation to generation. We hold deep reverence for the original jewellery craft and its heritage, nurturing the spirit of respect and ingenuity. Our intimate team of three artisans invests utmost care and passion into meticulously handcrafting each unique piece, exclusively for you.
For us, our team is not just a workforce; they are our family, united by a shared purpose and commitment. We embrace family-run and owned businesses, as we believe in spreading enchantment and wonder throughout the world.
As of June 2023, we take immense pride in partnering with accredited Australian metal & casting suppliers. These esteemed suppliers have earned recognition from global jewellery bodies for their unwavering dedication to using locally sourced Australian metals, ensuring the highest standards of quality and sustainability in our creations.
