KIBLIND Atelier - María Medem - If you could, would you choose to see the future? - A3 Poster

If... is an annual collection of five posters created especially for the Illustration Festival by Kiblind. Each year, five artists take up the theme 'If...' and interpret it in their own way, offering singular and inspired visions. Discover the posters from each edition and immerse yourself in their world. 

Maria Medem's drawings exude an uncommon serenity. It has to be said that she knows how to make us feel at home in her world. A woman of few strokes, with a sense of cutting and an admiration for the clash of colors, she makes her own the admirable motto "less is more".

With this economy of means, the Spaniard invents impossible worlds in which she places characters in search of a bygone past and an intangible future. This is the case in her three comics released in France, Echoes and Cedars at Fidèle éditions and Zenith And Because of a flower with Rackham. The same is true of his contributions to the most prestigious international magazines, such as Cold Cube (Cold Cube Press) and Now (Fantagraphics). Getting lost has never been so good.
