About Glom Press

Glom Press is an award-winning comics publisher and for-hire risograph press, operating out of Reservoir, Victoria. We aim to fill a gap in the Australian publishing industry between minicomics and graphic novels, providing opportunities for emerging and established creators to experiment and hone their craft.

Glom Press is run by: 

Michael Hawkins is a cartoonist, illustrator, printmaker, editor and publisher. He has self-published a number of comics and zines and his work has appeared in print and online publications such as The Lifted Brow, Overland, Vice Comics, Fireflies and Archer as well as numerous local and international comics anthologies. 

Bailey is a cartoonist and educator originally from Georgia, now living in Melbourne. She is a co-administrator of Glom Press, a member of the Workers Art Collective and an organiser of the Other Worlds Zine Fair. 

Ben Juers is a cartoonist, teacher and bookseller. He is a member of Workers Art Collective, and has been published in Kuš, The Lifted Brow and Sydney Review of Books. He also writes a regular column for the Comics Journal. From 2017 to 2020 he was the co-art editor, along with Bailey Sharp, at the Lifted Brow.

Marc Pearson is a cartoonist and printer. He co-runs a risograph press called Glom Press and draws graphic-medicine comics for Orygen Youth Health's digital therapy service MOST. He is a former Art Editor at The Lifted Brow (issues 25- 32). He formerly ran the cartoon advice column Advicecomics.
