Handcrafted in England, this charming original Gluggle Jug is a true icon of British design and has been delighting people around the world for over 150 years.
The distinctive feature of the Gluggle Jug is its characteristic "Glug" sound – a cheerful gurgling that occurs when pouring, especially when the jug is about three-quarters full. A charming conversation starter and a source of joy on any occasion.
The Gluggle Jug is much more than just a jug. With its eye-catching design, it is a real statement piece – ideal as a gift for birthdays, weddings, housewarmings, or just because. Use it for serving water, as an original vase, a stylish decanter, or as a holder for cooking utensils, pens, or makeup brushes. Wherever it stands – it brings personality and character to any room.
Every Gluggle Jug is created with attention to detail in the heart of the English pottery region of Stoke-on-Trent. By purchasing a Gluggle Jug, you support traditional craftsmanship, secure jobs, and help keep a proud chapter of British ceramic art alive.
Gluggle Jugs are made from high-quality, certified English porcelain – a material known for its durability and purity. Each jug is fired twice to ensure maximum strength and is then given a particularly fine, glossy glaze that makes it not only stunningly beautiful but also resilient. This level of craftsmanship has become rare – but it continues to thrive with The Guggle jug.
Fired at 1200 °C, Guggle jugs are particularly robust and suitable for the dishwasher.
